| Hi, you are allowed half an avocado a day on induction. The carb count varies depending on which type you have but I have found the small black skinned ones are the lowest in carbs. Hope this helps x |

As for avocados, they are allowed on Induction. According to the book, you are allowed 1/2 of a "small avocado". However, avocado is on the "Special Category" list. The foods on that list have been known to stall or stop weight loss in some people. So if you do eat those foods, eat them cautiously.

| oh no, i read and have the book, but i did a search on this site for more info, to get advice from some of the people who have had success. the book, and the atkins clinic, isnt always the best for info. atkins says their advantage bars are induction friendly, but the board here swears against it, so i dropped the bars and had more success. so i tend to follow more of the board's advice than anything. thanks for the advice, i'll stick to the half i had been allowing myself.
