Default Confused re: Flax

I have a need to deal with some constipation issues and read in the book that we can take 1 TBS of flaxmeal, but the book says to take it in a shake We aren't supposed to do shakes on induction, are we?

Instead, I made the Flax Crackers from the recipe room and ate 1/2 the recipe tonight and will eat the other half tomorrow morning.

I haven't cheated have I? I'm at the end of Day 13 of Induction and have been clean the whole time. I'd hate to think I've blown it this late in the game ...

As long as you had only about a tablespoonsworth of flax (linseed outside USA) then you are within the 'constipation rule' of DANDR

I don't think it matters how we add it to our foods/drinks. When I was using psyllium husks under the same rule I could never manage to drink it in water as Dr Atkins suggested, so mixed it with mayo and ate it with chopped celery.

There's a sticky thread in this forum about Flax. Also, give the flax time to work and be sure that you ARE drinking enough water when you take flax.
