| As long as you had only about a tablespoonsworth of flax (linseed outside USA) then you are within the 'constipation rule' of DANDR ![]() I don't think it matters how we add it to our foods/drinks. When I was using psyllium husks under the same rule I could never manage to drink it in water as Dr Atkins suggested, so mixed it with mayo and ate it with chopped celery.

| There's a sticky thread in this forum about Flax. Also, give the flax time to work and be sure that you ARE drinking enough water when you take flax.
