| Yes, eggs have a smidgen of carbs. I just count it as 1 carb to make it easier because I write mine in a book instead of using fitday. As for chicken, some places do add sugar to the precooked types. What I do is buy the big, economy packs (raw) at Walmart and then freeze them in individual bags. That way I can either thaw them in the microwave and cook them ( love curry!) or just throw them in the crockpot in the morning and let them cook all day with either a seasoning packet or my own spices. Be careful of sugar in the seasoning packet though because some have alot in them. I'm on premaintenance so I have a little more leeway than those on induction. I hope this helps. |

| Many "bagged" chicken products are injected with a salt-sugar solution in order to keep the chicken moist when cooked. In fact, I've noticed the solution is being used in some chickens that you buy raw in the fresh meat case too (read the labels!)
