| My induction symptoms lasted about 4 days. After that I felt GREAT. I used to be on zoloft for anxiety and concentration problems. With Atkins, I was able to get off the meds. I have NEVER been more alert since starting. Personally I believe you would be just fine.

| Hi there, I am studying myself at the moment and started Induction on Jan 1, so perhaps my experience will help you make a decision. The first three days I slept a lot, had a headache, was irritable and very vague (before Atkins I was drinking about four or five cups of coffee a day though, so caffeine withdrawal probably contributed a lot to the way I was feeling). Definitely no study on any of those days!! Things improved a lot on the fourth day and since then I have found it much easier to concentrate (especially around 3pm, when I used to hit a major slump). Of course if I needed to burn the midnight oil, there'd be no coffee to help me out. Luckily I don't have any exams for a while. Hope this helps.
