| Maybe these are symptoms of the atkins flu? I would probably hang in there and try to wait it out if it's bearable. See if you still have the problem in a few days? If you feel like it's serious, and/or it hurts, you might want to see a doctor. |

| CarblessInSeattle--No, I'm not uncomfortable. It doesn't hurt, just seems weird to feel hungry right after eating. Definitely not serious! (--CarblessInSequim)

| Are you eating anything illegal? Perhaps something you are not even thinking about that could be in your meal. Hidden Carbs or sugars? Are you eating a lot of sweeteners? Coffee? Caffeine drinks? Decaf? So how many grams of fat do you eat daily on an average do you think?

| Liv, I'll double check everything, but I've been very careful with reading labels to look for forbidden things. I don't drink soda, don't use sweeteners. I'm eating pretty simple so far so there aren't that many potential traps. Grams of fat are in the range of about 120-140 per day.

| maybe it is because you are addicted to food, and eating triggers that addiction in your mind which just makes you want more? I get that way a lot too, I drink decaf coffee, green tea, or a glass of diet coke on ice and it makes the hunger go away. I think it's psychological. |

| Carbless--yes, you might be right that it's psychosomatic. Perhaps eating reminds my subconscious that I'm "on a diet" (yeah I know, not really a diet) and that makes me "hungry." Seems kinda weird since I don't normally snack after dinner. Anyway it might stop happening after I get more time clocked with this WOE. Thanks for your thoughts.
