| Heavy cream is allowed during Induction. It's limited to 2-3 tablespoons daily or 3 fluid ounces as a Special Category Food. When you whip liquid heavy cream, it typically doubles in volume. Using Splenda is allowed during Induction, however, there is a limit on how much you can use daily. So as long as you stay within these limits, you may eat it, as long as it doesn't interfere with your weight loss. As for feeling guilty about eating high fat foods----chalk it up to all that "fat is bad" brainwashing. Don't worry, I felt like I was being very naughty when I began Induction because I was eating cream, butter, full fat cheeses, etc. But when you get used to eating natural foods and rejecting artificial things like margarine, you'll stop feeling guilty and start feeling healthy!

| I have been making something similar and dipping raspberries, strawberries and blueberries in it............. It is so sinfully good, that it feels like your cheating!! It is basically a no-bake cheesecake........... I take 1 block of philadelphis cream cheese 4 oz of heavy whipping cream splash of sugar-free davincis vanilla syrup 1 tablespoon lemon juice Mix all together until light and fluffy. Refrigerate for about an hour........ I use it as a dip for my berries and it is oh soo good!!! |

| Since this is the induction forum I would just point out that berries are not allowed on induction. I love that recipe though. I think I will try it.
