My induction numbers!! Wow am I surprised!!!

:wave Hello, fellow Atkineers!

I finally did my tally and here are my results:

I lost 1 1/2 inches off my bust

2" off my waist

3 1/2" off my hips (yippeee!!)

and......I LOST 15 LBS!!

WOOO HOOOOO!!!!

I couldn't believe it! i still can't! I have been walking around in a giddy daze! I looked in my closet and just started trying on old clothes that I haven't ever been able to get into or haven't gotten into in 6 yrs! and most of them fit!! Some not perfectly; they were tight but they still fit! I hadn't been able to even put an arm in some of my dresses but now I can get them over my head and down my body! One dress, that is my favorite, I can fit perfectly! I am pretty excited about that. It just makes me feel thatmuch happier that I did committ finally to doing this WOE right and stuck with it. Even if I had lost 5 lbs, I would have stayed on and been excited because it is 5 lbs less than my previous 360 lbs. I didn't even think you could notice it much but someone at work yesterday said, "hey, are you losing weight or something?" I am so happy! Now, I know that I will not get results like this after my second week but if I can lose just 4 lbs a month, I will be happy as a clam! It is not totally about numbers with me and I know it will take some time to get all this weight gone but last year when I first attempted Atkins, I started I at 400 lbs. At least I am not anywhere near there! :icondance :joy :joy

Thanks everyone!

I think that I am going to stay on induction for a while. I have a LOT of weight to lose and I am not yet bored with my food choices yet. Because of my work schedule, my time is as limited as my food selections on induction so it works out perfectly! lol! Plus I wanna re-read chapters 12-14 of DANDR and see carefully how I can do OWL before I leap in and get nervous. For now, staying on induction is also pretty safe for me and I think right now, I need the security--so to speak, that it gives me.

You're doing terrific! I am so happy for you! What inspiration and motivation!! KEEP AT IT! And add in exercise to really kick start your metabolism!
