Why are you waiting to get below two hundred to exercise? I think it would be beneficial even if you just take a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day.

Because i know from experince that when you start to exercise the weightloss on the scale slows down a lot and i dont want to get discouraged like i did before and quite but i never had a problem with exercise but my problem always been with sticking to eating right

Don't worry about how many calories you are eating to begin with. Concentrate on getting the right foods - which it looks as if you are doing

Make sure your cheese is within the limit of 3-4 ounces a day, eat when hungry and till no longer hungry and you will be fine I am sure

Does the diet pepsi have aspartame and/or caffeine in it? If so then it is not induction allowed. For many people those two ingredients cause problems so better to avoid them at first to give you the best chance of getting off to a good start.

If you are worried about exercise affecting your scales weight, then do make sure you measure too, as often we lose inches through exercise even if the scales show no change or a gain. Also don't get on those pesky scales till your first 14 days are over - in case they tempt you to think this is not working and give up.

One member has a quote in their signature which is very true
Quote:
Eating Atkins = looking good in my clothes
Eating Atkins and exercising = looking good naked
So to firm your body up while you lose weight you need to exercise as well as eating correctly

By following both parts of Atkins (eating and exercise) many members find their body shape changes so they can wear smaller clothes at a weight where before Atkins they wore larger sizes, and like most of us I bet you want to look slimmer. After all unless you tell them, no-one knows what the scales say but they will all see you looking thinner!!

You really should start to exercise, even if its just a 10 minute nightly walk or using the Walk Away THe Pounds 1 mile tape, Not so much for the benefit of the exercise but to get yourself into the habit.
You will really have a lot better results...

Just to clarify this one... The book doesn't say calories do not count. What the book says is that it is not important to count calories. So, while calories do count, it is not necessary to count them as long as we can stop eating when we are no longer hungry (i.e. before being stuffed). The nice things about Atkins are the metabolic advantage it offers -- it takes more calories to break down fat than to break down carbohydrate, so you can actually eat more calories (a few hundred more) than you could on a low-fat/low-calorie diet -- and the decreased appetite one has after ketosis sets in.

Do you have to win a contest like "The Biggest Loser"? If not, the number on the scale means nothing. Your health and your looks are measured in inches, not in pounds. You can fit in a size 12 weighing 200 lbs and exercising, or weighing 150 lbs and doing zero exercise. The only one who will know about the 50 lbs difference is you. What everyone will see is you in a size 12! Instead of going by the scale, you should trust the measuring tape. Set another type of goal, like losing 2" off your waist instead of losing 10 lbs on the scale.

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"

Exercising really helps. You burn extra fat while exercising. THere is also AFTERBURN; which is the fat that you are burning to recover from your workouts. YOu can afterburn for up to 48 hours. Every little bit counts!
