| without knowing your needed to lose weight there is no way to know if you did or didn't have slow metabolism take that ihnfo and check the charts in DANDR and see what your metabolic rate was so you can either relax correct that OD on sweetners you have a 3 servings a day lime on it and the serving size is determined by the manufacturer not us so a can of diet soda is 1.5 servings. If you are resistant give up the sweetner and see what happens. that is the only way to know if the stuff did imped you or not. Happy low carbing.
