I started Atkins on Monday and couldn't help but weight myself today, Friday and I was so excited to see I am down 8lbs already. I know maybe it's all water weight, but it's motivation none the less. I must confess I am not adhering to the 20carb max. On my first day I was up to like 30ish carbs and thought I messed the entire day up simply because I had too many vegetables. However I read alot on the internet about low carb diets and found alot of people saying they lost well up to 40carbs. So while yes this is suppose to be 20carb induction, I plan to try not to go over 35. My goal will be to have closer to 20 if I can but hey this is working so far and my energy was low the first 2-3 days but I am already filling better and not craving bad food. And if I eat too many vegetables, so what, I am eating healthier and even feeling full longer eating this way. I hope nobody has anything negative to say, whatever works for you, great, this so far works for me. Anyone else going over 20carbs and losing steadily? This board is great, glad I found it![]()
