Default Foods you've (surprisingly) ended up liking on Atkins?

For me, color me Popeye the Spinach girl! I used to loathe spinach, and now I eat it in my eggs everyday! I love it!

What is something you used to not eat that you now love (or at least tolerate?)

For me it's definitely eggs - used to despise them and even the thought of them, now I love em'

I also love broccoli Rabe (Italian Broccoli) it looks more like spinach than broccoli and has kind of a bitter taste, but stauteed with olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper?..I could eat it 24/7 it's delishioso!!!

Anything without sweeteners.
Now I rarely use sweeteners, even if the LC recipe calls for it as an optional ingredient.

Didn't really know too much about flax prior to this, so that's a new one for me.

Still not overly fond of pork rinds, unless you mean the real ones that come from cooking pork skin till crisp. The bagged ones don't come close.

Cheese!!
I generally eat well below my daily limit, but I never realized there was a world beyond mozza/cheddar/havarti!!

I like the aged goudas, and all sorts of variations of swiss cheeses...in fact the first taste of a really good aged gouda I said "This is my new chocolate!" meaning that it had that wonderful mouth feel and such a distinctive flavour..omg. It's a good thing it's so flavourful because I personally can't eat much at a time, so that's good.

It's a bit pricey, but it lasts a long time, and I usually have 3 types of cheeses in the fridge at any given time. :yummy

Beef, I absolutely loathed red meat for years and years. The first time I had a burger before Atkins I spat it out. Then I thought I might try a steak to widen my meat choices, and now I like it

I hated cheese as well, but it's growing on me. So far only eat it melted, though.

I've always liked veggies but I wasn't a great cheese fan.. so I guess cheese for me too.
