Default Two-week induction completed!

I just finished induction, and I went from 184 lbs to 176 lbs! It sounds like a lot, losing 8 lbs in two weeks, but the truth is I lost 4 lbs the very first day, which apparently was water weight. So that makes the "fat" loss 2 lbs each week. Which is great!!

During the first five days I got bored eating the same thing every day; i.e. string cheese, eggs, bacon, salad. Then I started branching out and discovering gouda and havarti cheeses, chicken franks with sauerkraut for breakfast, chicken caesar salads when I'm at a restaurant. It's been fantastic! Oh - and the "muffin-in-a-minute" I discovered last week has been a real indulgence!

Just thought I'd share my success. I'll update as the weeks go by, as I will be staying on induction.

Congratulations! You are off to a great start!

Don't stay on Induction (or Extended Induction) too long . I would suggest moving up to OWL. The first rung of OWL is simply 5g of carbs more of veggies each day.

Good luck to you!!!

2 lbs a week is fantastic! Go you! I just looked up the muffin-in-a-minute recipe and I think you may have just saved my life!

Don't knock losing the water weight. A bathing suit can't tell whether it was water weight or fat weight!!!

Thanks to all of you for the kind words of support. It truly helps to know that we're all rooting for each other, and we're all on the same team!
