Harder this time!

Hello everybody,

This time around this induction thing is the pits. I have horrible sinus and allergies and the lack of sugar doesnt help my headaches! However, I am determined to pull through. On my third day today. I know I will feel better in a week or so, its just hard to focus on that

Hang in there Cindy. I am almost finished with Induction and my allergies and sinus are already feeling better than they have in months. Unfortunately you have to endure the headaches to get there. It will pass. My trusty Excedrin bottle helped me through those days.

Yep, Induction can be a challenge, for sure ... but you can do it! Lots of support here; check in as needed!

Here, here. It's my third time around on Atkins. And, I agree it has been harder each time. But, I'm hanging in here. This is a great place of supportive people who don't bash you if you fall off the wagon.

I completely feel your pain about the sinuses - it was actually my sinus problem and constant headaches/fatigue that made me try the Atkins diet. Within a week, my sinuses dried (after two months of non-stop headaches and a try at every remedy in the book), my headaches were gone (as well as the dizziness I experienced in the first three days), and my focus and energy are unbelievable. I am on day 11 of induction - 16 pounds down so far. You can do it!

I don't have allergies and I didn't have a real carb problem before I started, so my induction symptoms were pretty darn mild, I think I had a headache for half a day and was a little sleepy. But whatever you do don't give in, you'll wake up in a few days feeling 100% better!
