| Companies are allowed to state 0 carbs if the item has less than one. That means each tiny mint could have .99 g of sugar but the label will say 0. If you pop these on and off all day, that could add up to a lot of sugar and trigger cravings for you. I would guess the cola jellies are most definitely out and I would probably stay away from the mints unless I could be sure there is absolutely no dextrose, sucrose, fructose, corn syrup or any other -ose (except sucralose) in them. |

| I assume you live somewhere in Europe/Australia, where the nutritional information is given per 100 g. So that would be 97.3 g of carbohydrate in 100 g of product. Quote:

My advice: stay away from sweets. We see many people on the Board who are either stalled by sugar alcohols or get nasty bathroom issues. It is difficult to say how many of those sugar alcohols are metabolized by the body as sugars (net carbohydrates) and how many are not, so better avoid them all-together.

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
