Hi Cindy, Dont give up, your on the 4th day and the induction flu is hitting you, give it a couple more days and you WILL feel better : ) McDonalds is not so bad if you do it right, I went there last night and got a Double quarter pounder with cheese. I asked for no ketsup and removed the bun when I got home, then to add some fat I placed mayo over it and ate it like a steak. Usally I make them at home but McDonalds is 100% beef with no fillers so my dinner was induction friendly... Salads are ok from there also, just take it home and use your own low carb dressing as the ones there will have more carbs then you want. Couple more days you will be in the clear, hang in there !

do not ever doubt yourself....you are what you think only. the actions will fall in line. you need tell yourself how it's gonna be and there will be no pity party. this is totally a mindset thing. do not give into the self doubt. take it hour by hour........not day by day. this is not supposed to be easy. when i wanna have a pity party...i think about how blessed i am to be able to eat right and exercise daily. i am reminded of patients, i know, who struggle just to do a simple task in their daily routine and remember how blessed i am to go through these minimal struggles of wt. loss in comparison. some people will go through the rest of their lives without any way to change. we are blessed that we have the opportunity to change. i'll be checking on you tomorrow to see how you do. you are a stronger person already by accomplishing what you did today. you actually should be reeling in self pride, and not one ounce of pity should be going on right now. we are going to do this!!! deb

You can do it Cindy! I am on Day 13 of induction and I was seriously contemplating giving up by Day 4, the cravings were overwhelming but they soon fade. As mentioned in an above post, McDonalds can be Induction friendly. Only yesterday I had a cheeseburger with no ketchup and no bun with a salad and diet Coke. My friend sat opposite me and ate fries too and I didn't bat an eyelid. Food is MY biggest downfall and I didn't even crave her fries, so you can do it! You're doing well so far

It's better as Induction goes on. And now you can say "I resisted before I can do it again."
