But you should really take something for the latter. If I'm not wrong, you have been taking psyllium husks for a few days now, with a lot of water. Probably they just don't work for you and you should try something else. Grounded flax/linseed mixed with a little water and microwaved (you can also add a tbsp of cream if you wish) works for some people. As you've also been advised in another thread, you can also try vitamin C or magnesium oxide. Another suggestion is to limit your cheese intake (incl. cream cheese) and eat more fibrous vegetables. And if nothing works, taking a laxative is probably not a bad idea.

| Hi Danielle ![]() If I get constipated I use a glycerine suppository which is a small 'bullet shaped' thing made of a stiff jelly which softens the stool when you insert it. Usually it only takes 10-30 minutes before I can 'go'. These are better for the body than a laxative which can upset your digestive system. Most chemists sell a box of a dozen or so for about a pound.

| Also just a reminder to keep your water up! I am only at the beginning of week two but my tummy bloated today majorly and that is because I had less water yesterday that my body's holding on to it because it's not sure what to do. Just be consistent with you water and that can help move things too! |

| I get bloated from drinking so much water! LOL I drink close to 100 ounces a day. After about 5 days on induction I started to need water and I get so thirsty for it. This has always happened when I start drinking a lot of water. It does go down, though. By the morning I'm fine again. TOM will definitly make you feel bloated! |
