We finished our first week today...tomorrow starts week 2...yippee! Last edited by locarbbelle; March 29th, 2009 at 09:32 PM. |

| GOOD JOB GUYS! I checked in myself before the 'weigh challenge' and I lost 6 lbs in the first week! I've never lost this much from any diet or exercise! I'm extremely satisfied and motivated to the core to keep this going! The results are amazing. I was actually pretty busy this weekend with a health fair we were organizing at my medical school so that really helped keeping my mind off food and my hands away from the fridge. 1 more week to go for induction, let's see what happens! Btw, the wings sound delicious! |

| Hi, everyone. Great job on the losses for our first week! I am feeling much better today (had the flu most of last week) and am down a total of 9lbs for week one. I would like to lose 6lbs this week, but we will see. I'm excited to get to rung one of OWL next week. I did a good job this weekend. Went to the movies with my family and drank an entire 50.7 ounce water bottle during the movie while they all ate movie popcorn - one of my weaknesses. I felt really good about myself. After the movie, I had some chicken breast, eggplant and summer squash seasoned and cooked in olive oil and it was delicious. |

| It seems like everything you guys are having are much more fun that my meals. I seem to be eating the same thing everyday :/ I'm a student away from the U.S. right now so it's a little harder for me to be creative with this diet. I need to actually take the time to do proper groceries and cook so I can make sure I don't get sick of the diet. I saw the 'sheila's sugarless recipe' website yesterday and it had some amazing recipes. Anybody else have any other recommendations? Also, I was wondering if having too little fat will really harm us? I know we're suppose to have more fat than protein in our meals throughout the day but other than adding olive oil, mayo, and cheese, I can't find anything else to add to the fat content of my meals. Eating those 3 things again and again and again is getting redundant. In addition, my hunger cravings have really decreased and I'm literally having to force myself to eat. I never thought the day would come, lol. That's all great, but it's not cool when I actually haven't had my 3rd meal of the day and I'm afraid of not getting in enough calories or fat. I wouldn't want my lack of hunger to work against me...anyone going through the same thing? Any tips? |

| How much do you have to lose? |

| it totally depends on how much you have to lose.. base it off your total % rather than the actual pounds (like the biggest loser does!) i have 40 lbs to lose, and have lost 6 solid as of this am. That is 15% of my total amount I need to lose! when you think of it that way, it's a lot more encouraging i find. i am eating a LOT of fat as well, which i think really aids in weight loss during induction. had a massive salad today with chicken and avocado.. was super tasty
