Re-post your menu and put the amounts of the foods you are eating. Also are you drinking water? Are you exercising? Did you take your measurements?

| Hi Unclnasty First of all, congratulations and well done on the 3 pounds, and please don't be discouraged. Following Atkins correctly is a terrific move for your health, and 3 pounds is 3 pounds - everybody is so different in the amounts and how quickly they lose. If you can post the following info, one of the 'experts' (of which I am not one!) will doubtless be able to give you some pointers. What are you drinking - are you getting enough water? How much do you want to lose? Starting weight? (If you don't want to post your starting weight, then just post what you have to lose) Amounts of the food you are eating - especially veggies and salads, but all of it really. You mention 'not enough fats?' - are you adding any fat to your meals - cooking in fat, or mayo for instance. Are you exercising - how much and how often, and were you exercising before, as increasing your exercise can affect what shows on the scales - but it will still be helping you to rev up your metabolism and tone up. Did you measure yourself? The tape measure can show a change when the scales don't - although if you can wait until the end of the two week induction before you weigh/measure again, that would be good. If you can post with the answers to these questions, then I'm sure you will get some advice and encouragement. CP Last edited by C P; March 30th, 2009 at 10:56 AM. Reason: Oops - sorry - kind of double post with not2late - you're obviously quicker on the draw than I am! |
