Eat at least three meals where you have protein and fat items (like eggs for breakfast, tuna for lunch, meat for supper) Eat more fat - so butter with your eggs (or bacon). Mayo with your tuna or a dressing on your vegetables. Eat fattier meats (if you like them) if you do not like that kind of fat - use oil or dressing with vegetables.

And also eat more vegetables. You are only eating lettuce for the most part. You need to choose more vegetables and do a bit of variety. Do you like avocado or olives? Those can be good sources of fat.

Right now your fat is low so you can work on that. And if you increase vegetables you may eat some more.
I love avocados and olives. How much of each can I eat in a day? Like a cup?

You can eat 1/2 avocado and about 20 olives
Here is the list of acceptable foods

I'm not sure, but I've heard that Wal Mart has a brand of sugar free bacon. If not, have you tried Wegmans? I remember when I lived in New Jersey they had everything a person could imagine. Or maybe a Whole Foods Market? I know for a fact Whole Foods carries at least two brands that are sugar/nitrite free. Scrapple and proscuitto are also really really tasty with breakfast!

I don't really pay attention to the ingredients of the meats I eat... mainly just looking at the carb amount right now... I figure I can be more picky after I have lost a bit of weight and want to tweak the diet more... No food is perfectly free of everything bad... even water...

You really should. Sometimes the amount of sugar or any other form of sugar (high fructose corn syrup) is EXTREAMLY high. If you are on Induction you might be ruining your diet.

Google search:
Scrapple - A dish made from scraps of cooked pork mixed with cornmeal, broth, and seasonings. The cornmeal mixture is cooked, packed into loaf pans, chilled until firm, then cut and fried.

If this is the scrapple you are talking about, Cornmeal is not an acceptable ingredient for induction.

You can make scrapple without cornmeal...

Nitrite and sugar-free bacon is easy to find even in the largest of supermarkets. Just have to read the labels carefully. For example, Stop and Shop's "Nature's Promise" brand fits that bill and are quite tasty...
