| my menu was pretty basic. eggs with mushrooms/tomato/cheese/bacon bits/chorizo or some combination thereof. lunch was always a big cobb salad--meat, cheese, cucumbers, avacado, peppers, dressing, flaxseed. dinner was some kind of meat plus more salad or meat and celery sticks. snacked on chicken and mayo or string cheese. made "cheesecake" one day with cream cheese and splenda (it seemed illegal) and made a pumpkin custard with pumpkin, cream, eggs, liquid splenda (no carbs) one night. and had 1tb cream in my decaf in the morning. i've had decaf chai tea with nothing in it almost every day. drank tons of water, started taking all the supplements the book recommends, and only exercised three times. not proud of that part. have been trying to go to sleep earlier as i know the early sleep and enough of it impact weight loss. and telling all my people that i'm doing atkins and to support me, dammit.

great 2 week results, Attagirl ![]() I would suggest moving to rung one (so you can have more veg than the (to me) pitifully small amount of only 3 cups a day It would allow greater flexibility and menu choices and ensure you don't get bored. some people stay on the veg rung and keep adding 5 net carbs of veg to see how high they can get their carb count and still lose.

| as you can see, i still have a ton to lose. knowing this, would this change your view of moving to rung 1? will an additional 5g of veggie carbs slow the weight loss appreciably? elizellen, i've seen your posts so i know you're a font of knowledge. i appreciate you taking an interest in my journey.

| I don't think adding veggies will harm your weighlosses, Attagirl ![]() And in fact I suspect that many 'extended inductioneers' are probably eating at rung 1 level of veg if they look at their salads etc accurately - I know I was
