I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Parul, I seriously doubt many people on this board are familiar with yin foods. I would suggest consulting a Chinese medicine healer and then discuss the allowed foods for induction with him or her and see which of these would fall into the yin category. Most people in the West do not use the principles of yin and yang (cooling and heating)in choosing foods. |

![]() Are you seeing any changes in your measurements? Atkins is wellknown for allowing people to lose fat even when their scales weight does not change or even goes up. We have had members who lost no weight in a period of time but dropped dress sizes
