| That's why it's better to weigh yourself only at the end of Induction. Fluctuations in weight are perfectly normal and can be due to water retention after eating something salty, TOM, constipation, etc., etc. Weight training can also cause you some gain as your muscles are retaining fluids needed for recovery. Good job for losing 8 lbs in 7 days. That's over 1 lb per day!

| Georgiana, I feel maybe its constipation because my stomach doesn't feel right either, ill have to take a spoon of castor oil to get things going. I am happy with the inches lost but the scale still looks scary Aprox how many days down I should see the scale move again? for better ofcourse1

| You can easily lose two pounds with a good BM. Trust me on this, I weighed before and after lol!

As you can see, the scale is not always accurate because it doesn't show how much fat you actually lost. How long it will take to lose the 2 lbs you've gained... I don't know. As soon as you get rid of the... errr... "extra matter"... you'll probably get back to -10 lbs. But it is really impossible to tell for sure.

| qatil how much water do you think "too much water" is? I drink 150 oz a day and know several others who drink over 100 oz a day so I'm a little confused as to how much you are drinking. I'm talking clear water, not tea, crystal light, soda, coffee....just plain water. There is no need for you to be taking laxatives as long as you are eating enough salad greens and other vegetables. How long have you been on extended induction? Maybe you need to move up to rung 1 and add additional vegetables.

| I would give it a few more days, keep drinking lots of water, up your fat intake, make sure you are getting enough veggies then see if you are actually constipated or if it's something else before you take a laxative or make any other changes. The reason I ask how long you were on induction is your sig says you are on extended induction.
