| If you are doing Atkins, you should not be starving. Eat when you're hungry, stop eating when you're satisfied -- no need to artificially restrict your caloric intake. If you post your menu, then we can see if anything there that should be changed. The dizziness could be a symptom of the "Induction flu", but it could just as well be caused by not eating enough.

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | I suffered dizziness for a couple of days just about 2 weeks in. As Georgiana says.... up your calories and see if that helps. No way you should be starving all the time on this diet. Just try to be sure that you're actually hungry and not just craving a "fix" of carbs. In my case, I certainly didn't need to up my food intake... and the dizziness disappeared after two days.

| I got dizzy a couple of times but it soon passed. Veggies and water will keep your hunger away if you do them both throughout the day. |

| Thanks, all. I'm feeling better today, which leads me to believe it might have been the induction flu (I love that term!). I do think I need to eat a bit more throughout the day, but I tend to get so busy with my kids that I forget to eat and suddenly realize I'm absolutely starving. |
