| Are you having a stomach ache or TOM cramps? With your face flushing, I would advise you to call your doctor. You might be having non-TOM and non-diet related. (better safe than sorry).

| Hello, I feel better today, thanks for all your help. I thought maybe I hadn't had enough carbs for that day, usually I had about 16 by then. I ate some green peppers, celery, and lettuce then I felt better. I think maybe TOM you must keep your 20 carbs, before than I often fell below for the day around 13-18. I didn't try, really, just at the end of the day I wasn't hungry, had my 1600 calories and it was bedtime so... just a little note in case someone else has this happen...

| My chiropractor had suggested to me that to really get a handle on the cramps, to eat negligable (like, nearly none) carbs for a couple days prior to when I expected TOM. However, prior to this, I had such an irregular schedule, I was not going to be able to determine exactly when that would be. Since converting to low carb entirely (and not just prior to TOM) (I think, perhaps, he was trying to ease me into it), my schedule has been fairly regular, and the cramps have been minimal.

| WOW, that is a great suggestion! :hug I will try it! Did it change your PMS? I've had great PMS for a few months now (since upping my Calcium) but this month hit me like a train (hate everything, moody, headache, bloated, sick to my stomach, etc.). The rest of the month I am very happy (some people say too much :confused. I wonder if I need to up my calcium for the stricker induction?

| before you blame this one incident on TOM see if it repeats face flushing hot is the primary sign of a food allergy too you could easily have consumed something your had a recation to. Just as not everything that happens to us while eating Atkins is Atkins related not everything that happens during TOM is TOM related. Happy low carbing

| Got to say that my TOM has drastically changed, I no longer get water retention or the bloat that goes with it. My boobs no longer ache and I dont get any cramps whatsoever. And strangely I dont crave anything either anymore!!! The hot flush thing would concern me!!!! Especially if its not the normal thing for you...

| If you're taking calcium, you should probably head for a calcium/magnesium combination, because, apparently, it works better together. Regarding your questions, yes, there are very few months that I need anything at all for the cramps (I used to be drugged to the eyeballs or so much in pain I couldn't move). Either way, I wasn't very productive if I made it to work. I rarely have cravings for the things I used to practically live on previously during PMS. I rarely bloat. It's wonderful to feel so healthy. I almost wish, though, that were was a turn-off switch so I wouldn't have a "monthly". I'm finished with the baby making, and would apreciate being finished with all the "feminine products" as well
