Default Meringue and Eggnogh

Hi All,

Need some advice i love my sweet things so am trying to find ways of having it but sticking to the guidelines. I've read that eggnogh is OK but is it a pleasant taste baring in mind i'm not a big fan of eggs?? Also would i be OK having Meringue made with splenda as its only egg whites and splenda mixed together????

HELP i think i'm stalling haven't seen a change in the last couple of days

You need to give that scale a break. You're not stalling if you're just starting. You're just getting going.

Maybe you do not want to hear this - but my best advice is to lay off sweet things in the induction (those first 14 days). We need to get a new relationship to food and we need to bust that sugar dependency. If you have sugar cravings try to eat fats and other things and see if you can overcome some of the dependency.

You are allowed three artifical sweeteners a day though. (I would recommend staying away) And if you have them measure carefully and be honest with yourself.
The meringe would make my brain go nuts because it would so sweet. Can you have it with just a bit of splenda?

Oh noooo.
You have to get real with yourself here. This is about getting sugar out of life. If you feed the monster it will not die.

Atkins bars we recommend agaist. They contain a lot of sugar alcohols that some people will digest and this bars stall a lot of people. You're better at waiting to include such frankenfoods till you have gone through induction.

So you had lots of sugar in your breakfast and now you already want more. See!! That is how sugar works. It makes us eat more and it makes us eat more sugar.
You HAVE to turn things around.

If you used one table spoon of spenda - that is about 3 servings of sugar and all you could have for one day. But there is now way I could eat that and still lose weight personally. It would keep me craving sugars all day.
