| The 4lbs is likely just water retension from the salty sausages. Drink lots of water & it will pass. Congrats on your good attitude - these things will happen. You tried to stay on plan, made the best choices you could have at the time - then realized later that you were having symptoms - and rather than binging, you stayed on plan!

| I was at a potluck too this weekend. And boy those things can be hard places to eat. (I ate before I got there because I knew I had to be careful) I did try some salad and realized that who ever make this salad had sprinkled it with some sugar. That was weird. So as you I probably ended up with too many carbs that day. But hey it is over with now.
