Angry Day 11 and Ready to Give Up!

Today is day 11 and I have not lost an ounce! I do not think I have lost inches based on my clothing. I know that some people do not lose during induction, but it is very frustrating. I have posted my menu and made the changes suggested. I drink 64 or more ounces of water a day. I have exercised 9 out of the 11 days. I bought ketone test strips and it says I am in the moderate range, however it told me to call my doctor if I am in that range. I went grocery shopping and I couldn't find lunch meat, bacon, ham or blue cheese dressing with 0 sugar, 0 carbs and no nitrates. It seems like most people have more sucess than I have had.

Sorry to grip, but I'm just so frustrated. This is the longest I have stayed on a diet and not cheated. I don't know what else I should do or not do. Any suggestions? Anyone else gone through this?

No no no no!!! Please don't quit. I quickly took a look at your posted menu, but you say you've made changes, so why don't you post a recent menu?

Grocery shopping is frustrating, sugar is added to everything!!! You could have very high metabolic resistance, have you lost weight on diets in the past?

So what is your menu like now. Last time I looked at it when you posted it, it was rather meagre. Have you changed it

Don't give up. You are working the program, it will work for you.

Grilled KFC chicken has many non-friendly ingredients, including sugar

Otherwise, since you haven't posted amounts, it's kind of hard to tell. Is the dressing, bacon, bacon bits NSA?

Are you drinking 64oz + of pure water?

I should have known better than to eat the KFC grilled chicken.

Is the dressing, bacon, bacon bits NSA? Does NSA mean no sugar added? If so, the dressing is blue cheese with <1 gram of sugar. The bacon is no sugar added.

I couldn't find bacon without sugar at all or without nitrates. That has been frustrating also not being able to find lunch meat, bacon, and dressing without sugar. They have only a small amount but I was looking for no sugar.

I am drinking 64 oz or more a day of water plain water.

I take Enablex for overactive bladder. Not easy drinking 64 ounces of water a day!

I do have PCOS, but I am not on medication.

I looked at KFC's website and the nutritional guide says 0 sugar and 0 carbs. So should we not eat KFC's grilled chicken? Are they hidding something? http://www.kfc.com/nutrition/pdf/kfc...on_april09.pdf

Remember we do not just look at how many carbs an item has we also have to check if the ingredients used to make the food are all legal. This is where that chicken may be a bit questionable.

These are them
Quote:
Chicken breast filets with rib meat, water, seasoning (salt, sugar, food starch-modified, maltodextrin, spices, dextrose, autolyzed yeast extract, hydrolyzed [corn
gluten, soy, wheat gluten] proteins, garlic powder, paprika, chicken fat, chicken broth, natural flavors (plant and animal source), caramel color, polysorbate 80,
xanthan gum, onion powder, extractives of paprika), modified potato starch, and sodium phosphates.
