Induction and shopping at Costco + Shift Workers?

I've started induction and I regularly go to Costco for groceries... I need to adjust my shopping list from Coke and chips to:

• Salmon
• Beef
• Chicken (incl. Rotisserie)
• Cold cuts, incl. deli trays

Any others? I'd like to get info on your fav veggies from Costco, as I don't know much about buying them (sounds dumb, but I am replacing the junk with food I am getting now).

ALSO:
I work shifts, so I either have to bring food with me, or participate in a fast food run. Typically I eat at home for breakfast and lunch, and eat dinner at work. I will be getting some sliced salmon and cream cheese, with broccoli and cauliflower on the side. I've even tried bacon-wrapped chicken breast, tastes pretty good.

Thanks... willpower is strong so far. I have the induction headache, even though I am drinking 64+ ounces of water (thanks to Brita and my Nalgene bottle). Cravings peaked on day 2-3, today just a mild hunger but not the feeling of starvation.

Now I feel very warm and a mild headache, a strange feeling. I see that passes though.

The Costco in my area is very limited in terms of legal Induction vegetables. So my advise is for you to bring a copy of the Induction Acceptable Foods List with you when you shop.

Be sure to read the labels including the ingredients for any food you purchase. There is one supermarket in my area whose rotissiere chicken contains 4 carbs per 3 ounce serving because it contains sugar.

Where I am, Costco carries different veggies at different stores. I usually buy mixed greens for salad, asparagus, broccoli.

Also add cheese! Costco cheese is cheap! And olive oil

You're lucky. We have 1 Costco in a 50 mile radius. It carries potatoes---all different types---peppers, lettuce and tomato. No fresh asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower etc. It does have avocadoes, but they are smaller and as expensive as the ones in the supermarket.

And the meats are no cheaper than the supermarkets too. Same for the eggs and cream. The cheese is cheaper, but the selection is very limited.

I guess it just goes to show that you need to look around and find the better bargains.

Costco if definitely the best buy in Canada. There is far more competition in the states, we don't have as many chains, and the cost of food is higher.

My Costco list is usually like this. I don't buy every thing every time, just when I need it.

Splenda
Mayonaise
Vanilla
Eggs
Heavy Cream
Cream Cheese
Ricotta
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Dublinger Irish Cheese
Brie Cheese

Canadian Bacon
Sausage (usually Reindeer local)
Steaks
Chicken
Ground Beef Frozen (6/1# chubs)
Roast
Sliced lunch meat (pastrami/roast beef/ham/turkey)

We usually have plenty of fish.

Giant Mushrooms
Aspargus
New Lettuce Mix (6 variety pack small heads of different lettuce)
Avacados
Tomoato
Cucumbers
Pickles
Sourkrought

I do buy some fruit for the family as well as my self now if it looks good.
