| Cabbage will last a bit - chicken will not. With cabbage I like to cook it in some bacon fat. Take a few slices of bacon cook it. Remove bacon but leave fat. Shred some cabbage (shred mean cut into small strips) and slowly cook in the fat till shrunk. Cut up the bacon and add to cabbage. You may start to shop a bit different. Decide what you are going to make and then decide what you need to shop for. |

| I agree about cabbage and bacon fat... also bacon bits! Bacon and cabbage is a marriage made in heaven! Shred the cabbage... boil it in salted water for just a few minutes and drain. Sautè pieces of chopped bacon in a bit of oil until crackly (you can add a little chopped onion or leek too if you like). Toss in the cabbage and stir fry it for a couple of mins. Yum!

| Last night I made coleslaw w/ mayo, splenda, celery salt and vinigar. I had that w/ bbq chicken breast. Also, cucumber, sour cream and salt and pepper make a great side. If in induction just remember 2-3 T cream per day and 2-3 cup of veggies total.
