| There is no difference in the color of keotsis -- you are either in or not -- the color can mean you are dehydrated or other things. I have rarely shown any color on the sticks but I loose weight and I know from the odd taste in my mouth and the stinky urine that I'm in keotsis. Sounds like you are doing good. Keep up the great work.

| egg whites, yes. I don't know about the fake eggs. For breakfast I eat leftovers sometimes. I also like smoked salmon and cream cheese roll ups. The one minute flaxseed muffin is also a good fix. Whip one egg with a couple tbsp flaxseed meal and 1/4 tsp baking powder. Add in a tsp of melted butter. I sometimes mix in onion powder and dill for a savory muffin or a Splenda pkt, cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg for a sweeter one. Microwave right in the round bowl for about a minute and a half. Let cool and slice. Top with ham and cheese, cream cheese, smoked salmon--whatever. I also use the savory version as a hamburger bun too. |

| If you want to eat only egg whites you can but it is better to eat the whole egg because it contains more goodness. No reason to have eggs at all if you don't fancy them - I too sometimes eat leftovers - in fact I make extra to allow me to have leftovers when fixing evening meals One member used to have chilli (no beans) for breakfast! No such thing as a 'breakfast' food on Atkins - any food that is on the allowed list for whatever phase of Atkins you are at is allowed at any meal time. In fact the only time I have bacon and eggs is at lunchtimes when we sometimes eat at an 'all day breakfast' truck stop

However you will need to work out how much flax is in any baked items like muffins to make sure you are not exceeding the 'one tablespoon' amount allowed suggested. Some of the flax muffin recipes around have 4 tablespoons of flax in them so would be better saved till the third OWL rung instead! You could make mini muffins from the recipe instead, or slice them into smaller portions to make sure you don't overdo flax!

| I use 1 tablespoon flax and 2 tabelspoons ground pork rinds in my MIM. I also use coconut oil, liquid sucralose, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Also, you might want to try the breakfast egg nog (do a search). |
