So was the first reading off? Or the second? Or were they both right, and if so, what does that mean?? I thought you were in ketosis or not...how could the reading be so drastically different in a three hour time span?
Thanks for any advice... | There you go: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-ketostix.html (When is the best time to test with ketostix?)
If the ketostix change color, you are in ketosis. But being in ketosis doesn't mean you will necessarily lose weight. Nor does not changing the color of the ketostix mean you are not in ketosis.
When you go to the FAQ forum, there's a thread there that tells you what are the physical signs of ketosis. Those are often more reliable. Of course, if you like playing with the stix, there's nothing wrong in peeing on them. Just don't get discouraged if they don't change color or if they are only light pink.
