| Different mayos have different amounts of carbs depending on the brand (ingredients). I'd use the label on the jar, (you may want to add 1/2 carb per serving since they round down on the labels). Also, make sure you are comparing the same serving size Remember that the Atkins website is run by a corporation trying to make money by selling their products - they have changed the Dr's diet to allow their products - on this site we go by DANDR 2002. That has nothing to do with carb counts - just a head's up!

| Another point to make is that "low fat products" often have additional flavorings that add to carb counts. Full fat mayo is fine on Atkins.

| Nutritionally, its best to vary your vegetables Try some of Linda's recipes, they make the food on this WOE seem a little more 'Normal'. PS - I should have mentioned earlier that processed cheese isn't allowed on induction (it has milk and other non-legal stuff in it)

| Wow.... I did not know that you could not eat cheese... I thought I had read serveral places that it was allowed..wow... well guess I will cut that out of my diet . So I am a huge coffee drinker.. I only drink one cup a day of the morning.. I being diabetic I drink it with a artificial sweetner. I also put powdered creamer in there. So any suggestions to what to do there. I also have been drinking that crystal lite with my water. I just found out can't do that either.. I like has read don't like the taste of water. I was raised in the country and drank well water. So tried this purified thing on my tap still it isn't the same. Any ideas.. and thank you guys so much for reading and responding |

| You can eat cheese, just not the processed variety. Also tap water is fine -- you can add a slice of lemon or lime if you absolutely need some flavor. |

| Aspertame is not allowed - that is the sweetener in Crystal Light. Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 ed. This is the last edition published while the good doctor was alive. The cover will be either red or white.
