| I love little smokies. They are miniature sausages that can be found in the U.S. I cannot find them here, but there are little snack size sausages that can be found around Europe. I am sure Ireland has something like that. I was in Dublin last year. Oh, the glory of the fish and chips. Sigh. Can't have that!

| Mmmm, sausages. I'll start tearing the supermarkets apart this weekend –*need to have fast snacks! Ireland is Europe's carb capitol, I'm convinced of that! Potatoes, beer, chippers, crisps and some of the best (and biggest) breads I've ever eaten are here! No wonder I need Atkins! Thanks a mil! |

| I have the same problem: cheese! I fry up a bunch of thin strips of chicken breast and keep some in the fridge. A little seasoned mayo (I mix some herbs or garlic into mayo - whatever flavor I feel like) and snack on those. Yummy.

| Some of my favorite snacks now are bacon (cook up a pound and grab a slice from the fridge when you're hungry), strip steak (same as bacon), and slim jims (which you have to watch the carbs). Also, I discovered Babybel cheese this weekend - excellent! Plus the serving size is so small that it's less than 1 carb! |

| Just a couple notes about cheese - -Remember that cheese is limited to 3-4oz per day. -Processed cheese is not allowed on induction - only 'aged' cheese. 'Cheese slices' and most Babybel cheeses are 'processed' (sorry). -Cheese counts as 1 carb / ounce according to Dr. Atkins (DANDR 2002).

The cheeses that are not allowed in Induction are cheese foods (or processed cheese products), e.g. Velveeta, and fresh cheeses, e.g. cottage cheese, ricotta.

| Thanks! I have the red ones, and just tried it for the first time yesterday - very good! I'll stay away from the Slim Jim. I should have known...I guess it's just best to stay away from any packaged foods like that for induction. HoneyB good luck finding some meat products you like snacking on! |
