| the cran-grape and cran-lemonade are NOT allowed on induction -- they contain high frutose corn syrup. This is the ingredients list from the cran-grape: Ingredients: Filtered Water, Grape Juice From Concentrate, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Cranberry Juice From Concentrate, Fumaric Acid, Natural Flavors, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). Check the acceptable food list -- also here is a list of what drinks ARE allowed. Have you read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) book? Have you looked at the acceptable foods list? http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-diet-14-day-induction/ By "plenty of water" do you mean a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of PURE water? Because that is the MINIMUM you should be drinking. Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water each day, including: Filtered water Mineral water Spring water Tap water *** Crystal Lite, sugar free teas, sugar free kool-aid & diet sodas do not count they are chemically enhanced and most include aspartame (also not allowed on Atkins) – PURE water is the only thing that counts toward your daily water intake. If you need a “flavor” in your water float a lemon or lime slice on top of your water
