Talking Last Time Starting Over!!!!

I cant seem to do the induction just clean and correctly. Im always tempted to eat what i know im not supposed to. I really want to do this. I want to be in better health, have more energy and look the best i can. Im am going to challenge myself to stick to it. Im going to clean out my kitchen of all sugars, starches and food i KNOW is not good for induction. I am also going to work out 5 days a week.

Also, Im going to document my weight loss progress everyday on youtube. I will talk about how i feel, what i have eaten, and any loss i have had.

I am going to be as positive about this as i can and hold myself accountable for everything. I am also going to keep a food diary to see exactly what i have been eating, drink LOTS of water everyday, and keep my DANDR book with me everywhere i go.

I know this is a great way of living. My highest weight was 180lbs. last summer i was able to lose 20lbs eating smaller portions and working out daily but when i hit 160lbs...the weight loss stopped. I found out about Akins a few months ago and did the induction in April 09 just fine and lost 7lbs. I realized that Atkins is the only diet that was able to help me break past 160lbs and made me feel amazing when i did. I want to be able to finally be happy about how i look and i KNOW Atkins is the way to go.

Today, July 20, 2009 is the day i change my life. I am restarting Atkins induction for the last time. I say i am restarting for the last time because i am going to do it right this time.

Have a great day everyone and make everyday your best day.

First off, congratulations on making a commitment to yourself by actively ridding the pantry of any temptations! With a little bit of willpower early on, you should be able to get through the first two weeks which always seem to be the toughest. After that, with a bit of effort and encouragement from everyone here, you should be able to meet your weight goal in no time.

The only thing I would caution you on is to not be too gung-ho early on. I have learned that when I try to do too much too soon, if I don't meet one unrealistic goal, I drop the whole plan. I (re)started Induction yesterday, but have purposely stopped my daily exercise regiment so that I can focus on getting the eating habit back in order without adding the stress of daily workouts to that. I plan to add the exercise back, either in the 2nd week or following a clean Induction.

Good luck! I hope to see you posting about your success in the near future.
