| I wouldn't rely too heavily on the stix...I've gotten negative readings for checking right after I eat or first thing in the morning. There's lots of factors that can give you a bad reading. How much water did you drink today? |

| Deep breath........ You're probably still in ketosis. Ketostix only measure the concentration of excess acetoacetate (one of the three types of ketones) you spill over into the urine. So if you have no left over acetoacetate or if their concentration is below the threshold of the stix, the stix won't change color. Don't give your third cup of veggies to anyone. It's yours and you need to eat it. Diet Coke is sweetened with aspartame and many stalled Atkineers discover they are stalled because of it. Dr. Atkins recommended avoiding aspartame and choosing other sweeteners instead. Also, don't forget to count the Stevia and any diet drinks towards your daily sweeteners. We are allowed to have at most 3 servings per day (1 packet of Stevia is 1 serving, 8 oz of diet soda is 1 serving). What are you doing for your exercise? Exercise is ketogenic... not to mention how good it can make you feel!

| Thank you both for your quick answers and education. I did end up going to sleep peacefully. I guess I shouldn't have freaked. I checked today and what do you know? Ketosis again. This board has a wealth of knowledge also |
