| WB, I'm a newbie myself but congratulations on a nice start. My wife hides the candy too. ![]() Seriously, nice work. The welcome ladies will soon be along to answer all of your questions. They are sort of Atkins Angels.

| That sounds like a good start - apart from the shrimp overdose I try to always get in the habit of balancing my protein with fat, and over time have realised that with food like shrimps or chicken breast (even with the skin on) that I need to add mayo or some other fats to it to even things out. I love the way that fitday (and other similar websites) help us manage our vitamin intake as well as our carb counting. I have no experience of how l-glutamine helps curb sugar cravings, but am sure some expert will be along soon - that is the great thing about ADBBers, someone always has knowledge of these problems and can give helpful insight and advice

| Thanks so much I'm not sure what I could have added to make my meal more full of fat, it was just because of the shrimp that I ended up with a different ratio, and I only like shrimp plain, lol. I don't like it cooked in butter, I don't like dipping it in butter, I just prefer the succulent taste of it on it's own, lol. I think I might try some Salmon for supper tonight! I was trying to figure out what to have and Salmon sounds DIVINE! |
