| Induction is a detox phase. Since you're not eating sugar or foods that contain forms of sugar, your body is craving it. Buy some L-Glutamine and take it. It will take the sweet cravings away. I'm a true believer in L-Glutamine. Here's the facts about this great supplement. Just click on #30 there and it will explain how L-glutamine works, L-Glutamine #30 . Sherri

| You are a carb/sugar addict. If you were an alcoholic and stopped drinking, what do you think would be on your mind 24/7 for a while? Same thing when we stop eating carbs and sugar. They have been adding more and more sugar to our foods for decades to get us hooked. They even add sugar to meats. Who needs sugar in meat? The best thing to do to get over the cravings for sweets is to stay away from all sweets, including artificial sweeteners. If you clear your palate of the sweet taste, you will soon realize how sweet veggies are and even water is. I roasted some zucchini, fresh out of my garden, and it was so sweet that it tasted like I had sugared it instead of salting it.

| The stage where veggies taste like candy. I know. It is funny how our palate changes. I can also really taste the sugar in veggies now (maybe not in water though |

| Haha! Veggie eating!! lol I am a sugar addict. Day 4 and 5 I wasn't craving at all. But today someone got an orange out at work, and I sat mouth watering. I was so jealous. Sulked in the kitchen, with my tuna/egg salad lol |

| I agree with taking the L-Glutamine supplement. It works wonders. I've failed miserably the past few times I tried this WOE, simply because of a craving. I took my vitamins but not L-glutamine. Now that I'm taking it, I have absolutely no cravings. It makes things a lot easier, in general. |

I didn't have any sugar cravings in a very long time, but during Induction I was keeping Camembert wedges around... "just in case" (you know, the kind that are individually wrapped and come in 1-ounce servings, to make sure I wasn't cutting a big wedge

| I am just about done with my two week induction. That is why I so concerned about the sugar cravings. I am find my self having nightmares of sweets. It is ridiculous. But any ways since I am just about done with my first two weeks and am barley having these cravings, I am thinking I some how let some hidden sugars in. I plan on staying on the induction for another two weeks to see how it goes. Keep a closer eye on my menu. |

| Keep going. Fight back. That is the spirit. Carb monsters try to get to us in the weirdest way. It is good to acknowledge that this is a problem. Yes look for hidden sugars and triggers (for some even legal food can be a trigger so think about that as you review what you eat). Take your vitamins and minerals - sometimes we have these cravings because our bodies need certain stuff. Taking a pill may help. And yes L-Glutamine cannot hurt. You go girl!!!!
