| I had this same problem at first. My theory (and it IS just a theory) is your body dumps water when you start any weight loss program and I just attributed it to that because after a couple days, it went away. Also make sure you aren't eating "sugar free" candy or anything (even though it isn't allowed on induction, some people don't know/follow that) because that will most definitely do it. Just an idea. Hope it helps. Keep at it though, don't give up.

| I posted about that earlier, lol - it was BAAAAD - and at work to boot, lol. It's just part of the process for some - some people are constipated and can't go, others move their stools very quickly. I heard it's called the "Induction Flu" As for the alcohol - I think you're supposed to steer clear of it, even though things like the distilled stuff would have no carbs, but you never know what you're gonna do once you start drinkin'! I don't drink anyway, so it's no skin off my back. |

| Are you eating anything with sugar-alcohols in it? (Like the candy) That causes some people to 'go'. Otherwise, it is likely induction flu, and should pass in a day or two. Regarding alcohol - it is permitted in OWL Rung 5. The thing with alcohol, is this: Your body stops burning fat, and burns exclusively alcohol until it is all gone, then goes back to buring fat. It doesn't matter if it is carb-free alcohol - the body still burns it first.

| And Manny, make sure you are drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration and don't forget to take your supplements.
