| If you shop carefully you eat quite well on atkins (including veggies) for not too much money. I normally spend ~$20-30 a week on food, and that is eating pretty decent. I'm sure I could probably get it under $20, but it wouldn't be as enjoyable. Besides veggies are usually cheap anyway. I generally spend $5-10 a week on veggies.

| My question would be are you looking for a "quick fix" for a special occasion and looking to drop a bunch of weight and don't care if you gain it back? Or are you looking to lose it for good and keep it off. I don't think anyone can eat THAT extreme really long term and as soon as you start eating somewhat normally again you will gain. Is your motive being skinny or being healthy?
