My blood pressure is now close to normal (124/76 instead of 135/92 where it usually is), my ankles are now ankles instead of cankles and I can see my ankle bones again, and I have way more energy. I've been doing yoga or walking (alternating) every night which I hadn't done in a while.

Good for you that you noticed positive changes other than weight loss. And kudos for exercising!
Sarbirus, when I changed my exercise routine and increased the weights I was using at the gym, I gained 5 lbs overnight. It took about 10 days for them to go away. It's not unusual to also gain a few inches, but that's only from your muscles, so don't worry. Just keep doing what you're doing, because you are not only taking fat off, but also becoming healthier.
