The percentages (65% fat/30% protein/5% carbs) are not written down in DANDR but are ratios that were established during a Duke's University study after analysing the suggested induction menus in DANDR.

Congratulations on your first 10 lbs! It doesn't matter if its water or fat right now, you were in the zone and forging ahead. YOU LOST 10 lbs! Do this for yourself. The exercise.. don't worry about what others think, you keep yourself moving and you'll be where YOU want to be in no time. It's hard sometimes not to take into account what others say, but it is not their personal journey, it's yours. Stop the madness and let those comments go. This is for you and only you.

I know you have what it takes to continue on. Read the threads, search in motivation and come and post often!

You have all the support here and I hope to hear from you more!

Happy Birthday!

Tracey

Good Morning,

I feel your pain! I restarted about a month ago and on the first week I dropped 13 pounds just to regain 5 if it back and I've been stuck there for 3 weeks until this week the scale moved down another 5 . It very difficult but have faith in yourself and know that in the long run it is worth it. I was struggling and I saw a friend whom i haven't seen in 5 years!!! She drop 80 pounds doing this and has kept it off! I blew mind mind on how georgous she looked. Keep your head up it will all be worth it.
