| I often sautéé chopped or sliced onions and/or peppers in butter till soft then make them into a sauce to serve over meat by adding cream. 1/2 cup of raw chopped onion (about 5 net carbs) cooks down into a fairly small portion.

| I just wanted to say the my induction experience was similar, I lost quite a bit & it felt like it came off easily, and I also have a lot to lose. I am on Rung 3 and still losing over 3lbs/week. Don't be afraid to climb the carb ladder, it does not necessarily mean that you will lose slowly. IMO it also improves your chances of keeping the weight off for the long rung, because you spend more time re-training your brain to eat properly. Best wishes,

| Are you spreading your carbs out through the day by eating some veggies at breakfast? I often added mushrooms or tomatoes to my breakfast with my eggs. I also fixed a veggie and protein snack before I worked out ... like celery with cream cheese or broccoli or cauliflower with ranch dressing.

| There is nothing wrong with staying on induction until you feel like you want more food... Just eat normally, you'll notice your carbs start to creep up when the time comes... then you'll know you want to move to OWL... I moved to OWL because I wanted yogurt... your body will tell you, just keep listening... |
