| Are you hungry? If you are not hungry, then you are probably eating enough. 950 calories is definitely a low calorie day, but if you go by your hunger you will have low calorie days and high calorie days. When you are hungry, don't be afraid to eat even if the calories seem high at the end of the day. If you are not sure when you need to stop eating, you can use Dr. Atkins' strategy to control your food intake (check Chapter 11, page 138 ). You need to artificially lower your caloric intake (i.e. not eat even if hungry) for quite some time to go into starvation mode. If you are eating according to your hunger and to the 6-hour rule, this should not happen.

| Are you eating your three cups of veggies? Glad to hear that things are going well/ As long as you are not starving yourself and you are eating your veggies you are fine. Remember to drink all your water too.

| Being that you are only 5'4" your calorie intake is going to be less than someone who is 5'10" etc... Just listen to your body... there will be days in the future when you have many more calories than that... |
