| I think Atkins works for most people if THEY work it. But you are not doing Atkins. You need to review the rules. Coffee and creamer for 10 carbs is not anything close to Atkins. Yogurt????? Meats with sugars??? Of course you will not lose. I hope you can change your eating.

| Is that all you're eating for the day? If so, that's probably also contributing to your issues... Your metabolism might be slowing to compensate for such a low food intake. |

| I would agree with Liv. Doing Atkins isn't just about staying under 20 carbs on Induction. There's rules to follow....no more than 4 oz of cheese, 2 cups salad/1 cup approved vegs (or an additional cup of salad) etc. Make sure you are truly "doing Atkins" and not just restricting your carbs and using them on things like processed creamers and processed meats/cheeses. I had issues with stalling due to excessive Diet Soda consumption and since I've switched to water, I'm dropping again. So review the guidelines and see if that helps. Good luck!! Keep at it!

| No yogurt during Induction, Greek or not. If you check the acceptable foods list, you'll see that yogurt does not appear there.

| Hi Nada, Glad u hv decided to hop on Atkins again.. look at me ..lost 15 kg..and despite the fact that i havent lost a sigle inch or kilo more than two weeks but i am still hopeful that i WILL reach my goal weight.. YES ... I WILL .. Just got my copy of DANDR... read it cover to cover .. a wonderful book..if u havent read it .. do that its worth reading and wud clear all ur doubts about restarting atkins.. coz according to Dr.Atkins .. it works ... whether its ur first time or third .. he said " you can succeed only if u forgive urself ur missteps..rather than calling the game a failure and withdrawing to the side lines" so just have faith ,patience and give ur body time to adjust ...inshaallah u will see positive results. and yes... no yogurt in induction honey.. Ramazan is around the corner... i am hoping to see great result in ramazan ..hope same for u. love .. Sadia Naseeb |
