| Maybe spare ribs with no sauce, or any of the stirfried veggie and meat dishes without sauce. The chinese place near my house has a cabbage, broccli, and chicken stir fry (only oil) that is terrific. Good luck tonite.

| Goodadvice from Kellygirl2 - the sugars and starches are usually in the sauces or coatings so ask for meat without them and plain unsauced veggies. One other thing you could do is have a hearty snack or small meal before you go so you really wont be hungry when you get to the restaurant.

| The have a website!!!!!!! http://www.chinawok.ws They have a "Health Diet Dishes" and under it they have.... Steamed Mixed Vegetables w. Chicken sauce and rice is served on the side! Would that work? |

| Yes order one of those steamed dishes with no sauce and no rice. Be sure to tell them no cornstarch or soy sauce which would both be a real problem. Just use salt and pepper yourself. In the future do everything youcan to avoid Chinese Restaurants as very hard to stay on plan there. Drink lots of water.

| I'd say that is your best bet but don't forget to see if there are any sauces on it. if there are ask for it not to be applied make up something like your allergic or something instead of them thinking your just another one of those losers on atkins and try to add sugar or something on purpose On the lighter side: You could always order the Cat, its low in carbs :yikes |

| Hi Cms, :wave Chinese food is notorious for hidden sugars, carbs, starches, MSG, Sodium, transfats and all in mega doses. Order chicken or shrimp or a combination of both steamed in water with no rice wine and you'll be just fine. For an appetizer you can order steamed veggies, no dipping sauce! and ask the to hold the carrots. Peter |
