Default I like the way I feel

It's day 3 on Induction for me, I am purple using the Ketosis sticks and have lost 5lbs in 3 days . ( lots of water loss! - I was SO bloated before I started Atkins ). Anyways, I also have issues with my blood sugar, low blood sugar and occasional hypoglycemia issues. It's okay controlled with low glycemic diet as we all know....but I must say I have NEVER felt better during the past 2 days. Just 24 hours has made a large difference in how I feel. Energy is even, not 1 blood sugar drop and I love the feeling of NOT BEING BLOATED!!

whoohoo!! I am enjoying this way of life and although excited to continue induction for my full 2 weeks, I look forward to each stage and the final reward will be a low carb chocolate cookie made from someone's INCREDIBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP RECIPE!! LOL

I do miss my cookies!! But i can wait!

Default Re: I like the way I feel

I was diagnosed Type 2 diabetic last July -- In January I decided to really do something about it so I started Atkins. My blood sugar numbers are so much better now and my A1C went from 10.3 to 5.0 on my last visit.

I don't loose real quickly but I am healthier than I was in January and several pounds thinner so I'm very happy with what I've accomplished.
