It's very easy to make mayo at home, imo. And cheaper, too. If you have a hand blender, this method looks very easy: Homemade Mayo - Minute-made delicious:days. I make mine without a blender; just a bowl and a wooden spoon.
And keep in mind that mayo has some carbs (after all, it's made of egg yolks). The one I make has about 0.3 grams per tablespoon. On the US labels, if the carbs are below 0.5 g per serving, they are allowed to label the product as "zero carb". If you eat a single serving, the carbs are very low indeed. But eat more servings or more foods that are "zero carb" and the carbs will add up.
I don't know, ivette752. I would be careful with this calcium disodium EDTA, added to protect flavor. According to oralchelation.net "Calcium Disodium Edetate is capable of producing toxic and potentially fatal effects. The dosage schedule should be followed and at no time should the recommended daily dose be exceeded"
Kewpie mayonnaise from Japan is great also. You can find it at almost any asian store.
There is a picture of it halfway down the wikipedia page right next to Duke's. =)

I think it has a better, stronger taste than American mayo.
