| I would not eat proccessed foods with artificial sweetners on Induction myself. There are issues with feeding the sugar cravings you're supposed to be weaning off; the artificial sweetner may or may not be legal depending on what it is; and there is evidence that it can slow weight loss. A packet of splenda would be 1 tablespoon / 3 teaspoons. I make custard with 1 egg, and 3 ounces of heavy cream, mixed with vanilla and nutmeg to taste and baked in a ramekin in a tray with an inch of water for 25 minutes. I add maybe 1tsp of splenda but every time I make it I use less Splenda and more vanilla because I think it's pretty strong and the aftertaste when you use too much is pretty rank. Be aware this will use the whole daily allowence of heavy cream on induction but that makes it a treat rather than a daily thing, which is as it should be.

| Here is a link that may help answer some of your questions about equivalents from U.S. measurements to European measurements. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...p-measure.html (Weight of vegetables per cup measure)

| If you are using granular Splenda instead of the packets, 1 packet of Splenda is equivalent to 2 teaspoons of the granular kind.

| Hi suzy ![]() Welcome to our international ADBB family! I would suggest if you do decide to make jelly for an occasional dessert that you get unsweetened gelatine and make your own using a 'legal' sweetener and maybe some lemon juice as all the packets of 'sugarfree' jelly in UK are made using aspartame.
