| Congratulations on sticking to it - you should be proud, Induction is hard! (But it gets way easier when you have your menus and stuff worked out.) I did not experience any nausea but I'm sure someone will be along with a better answer. In the meantime, are you drinking enough water and eating enough food? Do you want to post a day of menus so maybe we can take a look and help you?

| Congrats WellKept. I didn't have any nausea but from what I hear it could happen. DarlingBri is right in asking how the drinking of water is going. And it would be great to see what you're eating as well. Keep it up, the first couple of weeks are a whole new world!

| Yeah, you're not eating nearly enough. Atkins is a high fat, medium protein, low carb diet. It is not a traditional "diet" where you cut calories. An Atkins Induction variation on that menu would look more like: 2 eggs fried in butter 2 pieces of bacon 6oz ground beef 1 cup lettuce 1 Tbsp salsa 1 Tbsp sour cream 1 steak or fish or chicken 2 cups of allowed veggies You need to get a copy of the 2002 edition of the book and read it, but there's a crash course primer in my signature that may help you get a better understanding of how this way of eating works. Eat something, you'll feel better!

| Hello wellkept32, Don't worry, you nausea will not last long. Give your body another day or two to adjust to new conditions. Limit the amount of food you intake and eat when you're really hungry, not when you feel it's appropriate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya! |

| I had nausea on day 3, and it didn't go away until day 5. I was doing the same thing you were doing, and then I realized I needed to add more veggies. Also, be sure you're taking all your supplements. Believe it or not, a bit of exercise helped me. I went for a hike on day 4, and I swear that kind of helped push all the "sugar toxins" out of my body. Good job on the water. Hang in there!! |

| They are all correct! Even after 7 weeks I have a bit of a hard time really trusting that eating all the food I am eating, with plenty of fats and tastey juicy food is actually making me thin.. BUT IT IS!!! To date I have lost over 26lbs in 7 weeks, and am loosing inches every week! Eating plenty is the key!
